The Day Ride for the 2011 Blue Lake Ride, sponsored by UBNC Humboldt, takes you down the Avenue of the Giants to Myers Flat, the home of Riverbend Cellars Winery.

1. Heading west on CA-299 | 5.3 mi.
2. At U.S. 101 junction, take left fork to U.S. 101 South | 42.2 mi.
3. Take exit 674 – Avenue of the Giants/Pepperwood and turn left onto Avenue of the Giants. Take that all the way  to Riverbend Cellars, which will be on the right. | 19.0 mi.

Alternate return route: You can head back from Myers Flat on U.S. 101. Turn right back onto Avenue of the Giants. In a few hundred feet the road will go under U.S. 101. Take your first left to get on 101 North.
